“I’m Not a Budget Traveler… So How Do I Travel This Much?”

“I’m Not a Budget Traveler… So How Do I Travel This Much?”

✈️ Looking back over the last year… I’ve covered some ground! 🌎

When I look at all these places together, even I think, how did I manage to travel this much?! 😂

The answer is there’s actually a lot of strategy behind it.

Am I a budget traveler? Nope. I like a nice hotel, a balcony cabin and a little comfort along the way. 😉 But I am a value-maximizing traveler.

I strategically use credit cards, points, loyalty programs and status benefits, and I’m always watching for a great cruise or travel deal. Not every trip is booked on points, but almost everything I spend is helping earn points, miles, status or benefits toward another trip.

I truly wouldn’t be able to travel this much if I weren’t finding deals and making those benefits work for me.

For years, I didn’t have the time to really figure all of this out. Apparently retirement gave me a new job. 😂

✈️ Find the deals
🗺️ Plan the trips
💳 Maximize the points
🥂 Get the best experience for the money
🌎 And start planning the next one!

So here’s something to think about: Is the way you’re paying for the things you already buy giving you the maximum benefit? And are you actually using the loyalty perks you’ve earned?

Because for me, traveling smarter isn’t necessarily about traveling cheaper. It’s about getting MORE experience for the money I’m already spending. ✈️💳🌎

And looking back over this past year… I’d say those points have been working overtime. 😂
