Girls just wanna have SUN!
Why not a girls trip to Las Vegas to enjoy some of the hot summer sun with some of the BEST pools in the US? Yeah… we couldn’t find a good reason either.
So we went.
Look, Vegas doesn’t have to be a crazy wild trip! I’ve been there 25+ times so I know just about as much as there is to know about this city and STILL love going there — this time for some R&R.
Our days looked a little something like this….
Wake up // breakfast // pool time
Floating down the lazy river at Mandalay Bay ‘s pool.
We LOVE a good pool day and Vegas has some of THE BEST pools in the nation. Personally, MGM ‘s pool is my favorite, but we chose to stay at Mandalay Bay for this trip and also had a great time at their pool. As you may or may not know, Vegas is HOT in the summer time, so a half day at the pool was more than enough for us.
After a quick shower + a bite to eat we set out to explore the strip as not all of us had been to Vegas before…
We also kept it low-key in the evenings.
The first night we enjoyed happy hour at the Piano Bar in New York New York, one of our faves, and after went to the Ed Sheeran concert (If you’ve never seen a concert at T Mobile Arena, add it to your bucket list. The acoustics at this concert were the best I’ve EVER heard).

On our second and final evening in Vegas we went down to Fremont Street, we typically always try to spend at least one evening down here — the vibe is so different than that of the strip.
We had dinner at one of our FAVORITE Vegas restaurants, Hugo’s Cellar located in the Four Queens Hotel. It’s a bit pricey but the service, food and the whole experience is just top notch. They present each woman with a rose upon arrival and place them in a vase filled with water at your table during dinner, at the end of your meal they wrap the stems so you can take your rose with you when you leave. Other special services include; personalized salads made table side, sorbet pallet cleanser before main course, warm towels following dinner, and chocolate covered fruit for dessert! This place gets 5/5 stars every time we visit!

It turns out your trip to Vegas can be as crazy or, if you’re like us, as relaxing as you’d like it to be! Vegas is full of great food + great entertainment — all you need is some good company to make for a great trip, no matter your travel style!
